Darlene Chase, of the Victoria branch, is heading off into the sunset on March 31st, 2020 after a 42 year career in the print industry. It is her turn to experience retirement bliss.
We celebrated her retirement at our Sales Meeting held in Scottsdale, Arizona this year. The evening included speeches, followed by an 80's rock themed murder mystery dinner. It was a fantastic way to send this fun loving lady off with all of our best wishes!
Q & A with Darlene
1. What do you look forward to doing during retirement?
Lots of travelling and spending more time with family. I'm going to learn how to play the ukulele (I've never played a musical instrument before) and become fluent in Spanish. It's a good time to learn to say more than, "Bring me 2 beer, please"!
2. What will you miss the most about working at Factor?
The friends that I've made :)
3. What will you miss the least?
The commute to work, although it is nothing compared to Vancouver.
4. What accomplishments are you the most proud of so far?
The relationships that I've built with my Dealers over the last 27 years.
5. What is the best advice you can give us all before you leave?
Treat each other kindly and live your best life.
Darlene has always been a hardworking, dedicated employee who is willing to lend a helping hand. We will definitely miss her smiling face and positive attitude. We are sad to see her go, but wish her nothing but the best in this new chapter of her life.
We hope retirement brings you the opportunity to fill your time with everything you enjoy!
... That's a FACT JACK!
